I bought this boat in saskatoon Sask., in 1977. I've had it ever since then. When I registered it back in 1977, the person at the desk asked me if the number 5G552 on the bow was correct. it was, and they said it would been registered around 1951 or early 1952. This is a great boat and its well built, not a loose or leaking rivet. I refurbished my boat about 15 years ago, but it's ready for another round. it needs a good cleaning before winter. the trailer that the boat sits on, may be the original also, as it look a lot like the one's in the pictures. the old evinrude still runs great . in the 28 years that i've used it , it's let me down on the water once. There are a lot of good fishing lakes around here. you might have noticed the dash on this boat , I had a radio in it last year, but someone seemed to need it more than I did. when i bought this boat , it came with a radio from a 1961 ford car. I had to change the seats, as they rotted over time. when I purchased it in 1977, it still had the original vinyl on the seats. That's about all I can tell about it for now.
