April 2009 - New owner takes over .... the "Tin Can" lives again
April 2009 - New owner takes over ....The "Tin Can" lives again .... On lookout for new engine plus all gear. Scheduling for lots of elbow grease .... Before and After photos will follow ! Will change home port - moving to Lac des Sables where the Saci has been residing since 2004 - can you imagine folks reaction when they see "twins" on the lake !
Hitched up and ready for test run May 2009 - engine found, front windshield repaired, new decals and more -- May 19, 2009	New swivel seats and used speedo (note missing front glass)	Found 1993 40HP with oil injection - runs great

July 15, 2004 - Found in the forest upside down. Had not seen water for about 10 years . Serial # 647. Old timer Lac Manitou resident - Walter, remembers seeing it on the lake in 1951. July 24, 2004 Found 1960 vintage 28HP Evinrude OB . MAJOR elbow grease cleaning done by Doug & Bar. New auto safety windows installed. Now in shop for engine tune up. August 10, 2004 - Alive and well on Lac Manitou. Two granddaughters learning seamanship. . More pictures to follow soon. May 2005 update - Finished cleaning interior, Envinrude died, no parts. Replaced with 25HP 4S Johnson - runs beautifully. Need to find replacement grab rails. Nov 2008 - SAD UPDATE - Tin Can forced into temporary retirement. Now minus engine and all accessories, missing window, stored upside down, looking for new owner !
